Well, I am back from my art courses (camp...whatever you want to call it I guess) at the local College. It was awesome, except the food was absoloutley vomitational worthy >.<
I learned a lot of new art techniques! Next year I plan on taking the glass blowing course, where you learn how to make vases and beads from molten glass. I used plaster (oh, and by the way, placing vaseline and plaster on an incredibly hairy teenage boys' foot was probably one the of the worst things I've ever had to do.) :dummy:
I made lots of new artsy friends who live really close by to me! ~fendstratchick,~CirrusTheCloud are friends I made this year and last year, my good friend Reece ~TheCrazedCartoonist(who was unfortunatley too ancient to come to this camp lol sorry Reece) is a fantastic characturist and I haven't seen in his art in awhile. I saw it yesterday for the first time and my expression was literatley: :jawdrop:!!1
Here are two lovely girls I met at animethon this year; they were so polite to us when we were forced to cut into line infront of them ;-; :heart: They're art is adorable and I think they deserve some love! ~sam-a-licious,~MissaChanxRoxasChan :meow:
Since I'm kind of doing a featurefrenzy here~ I'd like to introduce one of my newest friends on DA! He's 17 yet talented beyond his years in my opinion! His artwork is a mix of everything but I love his sculpturing the best! =quesada888 :la:

I just finished yesterday -- I learned a lot! I also realized exactly how sucky I am (but I am better than I thought I was, hehe). And I learned exactly what I can do to improve myself. So I'm pleased! 8D

Well I'm happy to hear that you're all done, love! You are NOT sucky. >.> Don't even go there. *glare*
But its good you get the chance to improve yourself. I'm at art camp and its like: HERE DRAW THIS NAKED PERSON YOU'LL GET BETTER AT DRAWING! when it seriously accomplishes NOTHING in life. >__> It just scalds my soul on the inside *and eyes too*

I learned how to improve my painting!

BY NOT PAINTING.
